And whe ye had gyrde on euery man his wepons of warre and were ready to goo vp in to the hilles, 41 Then answered ye, & sayde vnto me: We haue synned agaynst ye LORDE, we wil go vp, and fighte, acordinge to all that the LORDE hath commaunded vs. Now whan ye had prepared yor selues, euery one in his harnesse, & were at the poynte to go vp to the mountaynes,  Then ye answered and sayd vnto me, We haue sinned against the Lord, we wil go vp, and fight, according to all that the Lord our God hath commanded vs: and ye armed you euery man to the warre, and were ready to goe vp into the mountaine. Then ye aunswered and sayde vnto me, We haue sinned agaynst the Lord: we wyll go vp and fight, according to all that the Lorde our God commaunded vs. And when ye had gyrde on euery man his weapons of warre, ye were redie to go vp into the hyll.  Then ye answered, and said vnto mee, Wee haue sinned against the Lord, we will goe vp and fight, according to all that the Lord our God commanded vs. And when ye had girded on euery man his weapons of warre, yee were ready to goe vp into the hill.

And the Lord sayd vnto me: Say vnto them, go not vp, neither fight, for I am not among you: lest ye fall before your enemies.  And the Lord said vnto me, Say vnto them, Goe not vp, neither fight, for I am not among you: least ye be smitten before your enemies.
1:43 Y spak, and ye herden not; but ye `weren aduersaries to the comaundement of the Lord, and bolnden with prijde, and stieden in to the hil. 1:45 and wepten bifor the Lord, he herde not you, nether wolde asente to youre vois; And ye came agayne and wepte before the Lorde: but the Lorde wolde not heare youre voyce nor geue you audience. 45 Now whan ye came againe, and wepte before the LORDE, he wolde not heare youre voyce, and enclyned not his eares vnto you.  And when ye came againe, ye wept before the Lord, but the Lord would not heare your voyce, nor incline his eares vnto you. And ye came agayne, and wept before the Lorde: but the Lorde would not heare your voyce, nor hearken vnto you.  And ye returned and wept before the Lord; but the Lord would not hearken to your voyce, nor giue eare vnto you.

Take ye good heede vnto your selues therfore: Ye shall not prouoke them, for I wyll not geue you of their lande, no not so much as a foote breadth, because I haue geuen mount Seir vnto Esau to possesse.  Meddle not with them, for I will not giue you of their land, no not so much as a foote breadth, because I haue giuen mount Seir vnto Esau for a possession. {no…: Heb. even to the treading of the sole of the foot}

And when we were departed from our brethren the children of Esau which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the wyldernesse from Elath, & from Ezion Gaber, we turned and went by the way of the wyldernesse of Moab.  And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, thorow the way of the plaine from Elath, and from Ezion-Gaber, wee turned and passed by the way of the wildernesse of Moab.

The the Lorde sayed vnto me se that thou vexe not the Moabites, nethet prouoke the to batayle for I will not geue the of their lode to possesse: because I haue geue Ar vnto the childern of loth to possesse. 9 Then sayde the LORDE vnto me: Thou shalt not vexe the Moabites, ner prouoke the vnto battayll, for I wil not geue the of their londe to possesse.  Then the Lord sayd vnto me, Thou shalt not vexe Moab, neither prouoke them to battel: for I wil not giue thee of their land for a possession, because I haue giuen Ar vnto the children of Lot for a possession. And the Lorde sayd vnto me: Thou shalt not fight agaynst the Moabites, neither prouoke them to battayle: for I wyll not geue thee of their lande to possesse, because I haue geuen Ar vnto the chyldren of Loth to possesse.  And the Lord said vnto mee, Distresse not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battell: for I wil not giue thee of their land for a possession, because I haue giuen Ar vnto the children of Lot for a possession. {Distress…: or, Use no hostility against Moab}

In like maner the Horimes dwelt in Seir before time which the childern of Esau cast out, ad destroyed the before them and dwelt there in their stede: as Israel dyd in the londe of his possessio which the Lorde gaue them 12 The Horites also dwelt in Seir afore tyme, & ye children of Esau droue them out, and destroyed them before them, & dwelt in their steade: like as Israel dyd in ye lode of his possession, that the LORDE gaue them.  The Horims also dwelt in Seir before time, whome the children of Esau chased out and destroyed them before them, and dwelt in their steade: as Israel shall doe vnto the land of his possession, which the Lord hath giuen them. The Horims also dwelt in Seir before tyme, whom the chyldren of Esau chased out, & destroyed them before them, and dwelt in their steade, as Israel did vnto the lande of his possession, whiche the Lorde gaue them.  The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime, but the children of Esau succeeded them when they had destroyed them from before them, & dwelt in their stead, as Israel did vnto the land of his possession, which the Lord gaue vnto them. {succeeded: Heb. inherited} {stead: or, room}

The space in whiche we came from Cades Barnea, vntill we were come ouer the riuer Zared, was thirtie and eyght yeres, vntyll all the generation of the men of warre were wasted out from a mong the hoast, as the Lorde sware vnto them.  And the space in which we came from Kadesh Barnea, vntill we were come ouer the brooke Zered, was thirtie and eight yeeres; vntill all the generation of the men of warre were wasted out from among the hoste, as the Lord sware vnto them. {brook: or, valley}
2:15 that thei schulden perische fro the myddis of `the castels. For in dede the hande of the Lorde was agest the, to destroye them out of the host, till they were consumed. 15 The hande of the LORDE also was agaynst them, to destroye the out of the hoost, tyll they were consumed.  For in deede the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from among the hoste, till they were consumed. For in deede the hande of the Lorde was against them to destroy them fro among ye hoast, til they were cosumed.  For indeed the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from among the hoste, vntill they were consumed.
