1:13 13 This witnessyng is trewe. 3:1 1 Amoneste hem to be sugetis to prynces, and to poweris; to obeische to that that is seid, and to be redi to al good werk; 1 ¶ Warn them that they submit themselves to rule and power, to obey the officers, that they be prompt unto all good works, 1 Warne the that they submitte them selves to rule and power to obey the officers that they be readie vnto all good workes 1 Warne them that they submytte them selues vnto Prynces and to the hyer auctorite, to obey the officers, to be ready vnto all good workes, 1 Pvt them in remembrance that they bee subiect to the Principalities and powers, and that they bee obedient, and ready to euery good woorke, 1 Warne them to be subiect to rule & power, to obey magistrates, to be redie to euery good worke:  1 Put them in minde to bee subiect to Principalities & Powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to euery good worke,

3:7 7 oure saueour, that we iustified bi his grace, ben eiris by hope of euerlastinge lijf. 7 that we once justified by his grace, should be heirs of eternal life, thorow hope. 7 that we once iustified by his grace shuld be heyres of eternall lyfe thorowe hope 7 yt we beynge made righteous by his grace, shulde be heyres of eternall life acordynge to hope. 7 That we, being iustified by his grace, should be made heires according to the hope of eternall life. 7 That we iustified by his grace, should be made heyres accordyng to the hope of eternall lyfe.  7 That being iustified by his grace, we should bee made heires according to the hope of eternall life.
3:8 8 A trewe word is, and of these thingis Y wole that thou conferme othere, that thei that bileuen to God, be bisy to be aboue othere in good werkis. These thingis ben good, and profitable to men. 8 This is a true saying. ¶ Of these things i would thou shouldest certify, that they which believe God, might be studious to go forward in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. 8 This is a true sayinge. Of these thinges I wolde thou shuldest certifie that they which beleve God myght be diligent to go forwarde in good workes. These thinges are good and proffitable vnto me. 8 This is a true sayege.
